It seriously was. I regret it every time I see myself in the mirror, “FAT” etched into my skin permanently. It’ll take me even longer now to wear a fatkini, not that I’m embarrassed of my fat body; I’m embarrassed that at one time I hated it enough to hurt it so brutally. I’ve never wished harm upon anyone, but I was willing to stain my skin with scars all because I didn’t fit the beauty “norm.” Biggest mistake of my life.
